You’re also gonna have fun if you’re doing a beachfront with moving waves, that’s gonna be difficult but if you take many of the same shots over and over again, it can work out. Good luck with the shot and post your results!
I'm not really concerned with the water, but rather the beach and buildings. Of course, the moving tourists may be problematic, also. You’re also gonna have fun if you’re doing a beachfront with moving waves, that’s gonna be difficult but if you take many of the same shots over and over again, it can work out. After you have the next to final pano, simply use a photo editing program to remove unwanted subjects.I'm not really concerned with the water, but rather the beach and buildings. Of course, the moving tourists may be problematic, also.
Photogrammetry or mapping programs stitch images shot from different camera positions.Curious what software you’d use to stitch a complex pano that ISNT shot from one viewpoint?
Good points. I’ve used Hugin for this, it’s free and is based on Panorama Tools.Photogrammetry or mapping programs stitch images shot from different camera positions.
Good stitching programs have multiple projection formulas that you can use.
To stitch as the OP requires you would use a program which offers a planar projection option.
I used it too but before they charged for it. Good program though!I use PTGUI and it does handle planar projections.....it is not free nor inexpensive but it suits my needs for drone and DSLR Panos.
