Ya know for several years I've always kept firmwares updated on things like ESC's and FC's but I am honestly not really getting the warm and fuzzies on moving forward on the Updates for the Mavic. Nothing against DJI or the products and I do understand there always seems to be a bug now and...

When this happened to me I also posed the same question. Turns out after @msinger answered the question "do I need to connect the drone prior to" which in that case I had not, once I connected the Mavic everything worked as expected.

So questions (coming from a new DJI Mavic pilot) Is this app intended to be a stand alone app to use with the Mavic (other DJI as well)? Or is it used in tandem with the GO-4 app? From reading I assume you have used this, how did things go?

On my racers I have a 3 point leveling setup that using a bubble level on gets me pretty close. I have some really flat Carbon Fiber sheets I got form work that are within about .005 thou flat that I can set on top of my 3 point that's large enough for the Mavic.
