The boost is for the rc. I have test it first at 5.8 in town. After i boost both the air 2 and the mini, i was happy with the results. That's why i have already stop calibrating them months ago.

The drone-hacks is working. You get a more stable signal at longer distance. The boost is on remote control.

For my Air 2 is working fine. Test it for 3.5 kilometers one way (7 total). The signal was stable with almost full bars all time. Need to do the procedure after every flight but that takes only some seconds.

Boost at the RC from drone-hacks.com plus FCC hack plus parabolic antennas are the best combination but always take care to have more than enough battery on your way at home.
