Ive been trying to update my 2 Pro and smart controller as well. I got most everything updated except the GO 4 app on the smart controller. I don't see a way to update that. I still don't see the RID number in the about section. I was told you couldn't even use the ver 1 SC with RID, obviously...

I'm trying to update GO 4 on my original smart controller, but I don't see an option for that on the DJI site. Only updating it on my phone. That's one issue. The other is, if I get that update, and I do all the other updates, will Remote ID work on my older SC?

LOL How am I supposed to update my firmware outside? Will this work on the Smart Controller or just with a cellphone? It's all insane. We should tar and feather the people that came up with this RID nonsense.

Mavic 2 Pro batteries appear dead. I put my drone away and just havent touched it for 6 mos or more. I know... I charged one of the batteries all the way and put it in the drone. Hit the button, but the green light only stayed on for a few seconds. Tried it with another battery, same thing...

How do you show direction of flight?

I was checking the altitude of an image in the file info section in Photoshop CC and it showed 178 m. Thats 583 ft. I know I wasnt that high. Any thoughts?

When I put in my smart controller serial # and it didnt work, DJI tech finally told me its the flight controller serisl #. Why have two different #s for the same device? I never did get my Mavic unlocked on site.

I fully charged my SC. Tried to update the firmware, but the battery dies before it updates, even though its pluged into the computer. WTH???? I had sent the SC to DJI to check the batterybut they said it was fine.

The SC is very bright so you can see it in intense light situations. Ipads are that bright. I put a 7 inch high brightness video screen on a bracker above the SC so I can see exactly what the camera sees without all the flight info. See Thors drone world for the brackets. They have screens but...
