Yes. As I said. There is some precision involved. The focuser, I think you mean feedhorn there, needs to take into account the curve of the dish, among other factors. I'm interested to see whether his experiments bear fruit. Or whether the two items are actually able to fit over each other.

Not to quibble, but many satellite dishes DO have a "focuser" in the centre of the dish. It doesn't look like an old TV antennae, but I see where m80116 is going with his thinking. I think it takes more precision than just popping both on, though.

So, I am just looking on Amazon here. My problem with my PHONE was that I was still operating on a 32 bit system, and DJI FLY won't do it. I had to buy a 64 bit Samsung S7 to fly it. I have been told that 64bit means you need at least 4gigs ram to run it. The Galaxy tab A 8.0 on my screen...

Thanks for that. I just looked at TC, the Canuck version of the FAA and they mention clouds in a way that indicates you shouldn't fly in one that can obscure the VLOS that everyone is on about. So it seems to differ a bit, place to place. Whelp. That's good enough info for me, then.

That was really cool. I see that those small micro-adjustments are just as alarming as mine. No matter how I try to feather it. I live in a very foresty environment, that open desert is beautiful for low flying. It's an enticement to find an open plain to fly in.

I found the same as Motorcycle Rider. I was VERY conservative in the beginning. I did tests, and brought my drone back when it hit the 50% mark. Didn't even fly it over water for a while, and then did tests to see what being overwater might do to the flight characteristics. Looking at my...

DronexFactor and a few others use those. Do you have to be super careful to stay facing the drone or the signal drops out, though? I'm gonna buy SOMETHING and every set has one or two questions I'd ask.
