Thank you all for the very informative advice. Now I know a lot more about sd cards and what to look for. I think I will attempt to buy something online because in my country the U3 cards are insanely expensive.

Customs will only be an issue if it is a new item that you are importing. Since yours is a "used" drone, that should not be a problem. However, having said that, this is Africa, and in Africa ANYTHING is possible.

Basically you have to register with the authorities, but the problem is, they do not reply at all. So basically everybody just do their own thing and fly "illegally" Basic rules are; Max altitude: 40 M and you may not fly within 50 M of people, cars, roads, buildings etc. Nobody however adheres...

Hi everybody. So, my baby has arrived. I am now officially the only Mavic Pilot in my neck of the woods (Namibia, South Western Africa) Everything is charging now. Can someone please tell me - is there a chronological list on how to proceed from here. ie calibrations, settings etc etc.
