Thanks Chris, I know of the area but when we were at William Creek in 2010 we had to choose between a Wrightsair flight over the breakaways or across Lake Eyre that was then close to filling up. We chose the Lake. (saw the can at 110, love those termite mounds)

Wonderful video and very entertaining. I had my own encounter with tree eating drones filming our campsite from across the river when my wife said "What's all that stuff splashing into the water?" I was tree trimming with my Mavic pro but some vary careful manoeuvring got it back unscathed.
