Well it was just over 3 weeks waiting for the shipment (from China) but I finally received the Zoom gimbal. The swap took all of 10 minutes, much of that making certain I had the cable lined up correctly before committing to seating it. It was worth the $285, and thank you for the suggestion...

That is a stellar idea. I only wished I had purchased the zoom first, as it's a cheaper M2 base buy-in. But still a grand suggestion.
