New firmware inherently introduces new issues. Unless your current update lacks Remote ID, i would leave it if it works without issue. Updates aren't mandatory. If taking every update as it's available makes you feel better, go for it, I'd at least give it some time in the field with others...
I’m also having this issue. Just started today. It has to be something in VLM, as i can pull up virtual missions that were generated in the past and they look fine. Nothing changed on my end recently, litchi or the VLM portion of Litchi had to have been updated. Also getting the same issue using...
JUST TO ADD,
you want to set your first waypoint to where you're taking off from(if AT ALL possible), as this is what the rest of the mission's altitude calculations are based on.
For example, if your takeoff point is 10m lower than the point you set as WP1, the drone will fly to ALL waypoints...
If you still have the Spark in your sig, it should behave the same as the older drones if Litchi settings are set that way. I have 1 and it continues after loss of signal, but range is limited by speed and battery.
I have tested it with success, though my use-case was quite a bit different than Dougcjohn
I'm going to do some trials regarding the situation presented above.
@Dougcjohn , was everything else regarding the mission the same, aside from distance between operator and R/C? I'm specifically curious...
As I understand it, "default gimbal pitch mode" is simply the mode a new waypoint is initially set to when added to the mission and should have 0 bearing on anything else.
First off, are you setting the mission up as "straight line" or "curved turns"? It needs to be "curved turns" and you need to make sure none of the waypoints have "curve" set to 0. You may try playing with different values for "curve" as well and see if that solves it.
If that's not it, try...
We obviously run in different crowds as the majority of ppl I've come across refer to DJI Go when speaking of DJI Go 4.
The changes I was speaking of are in the aircraft utilizing the DJI Go 4 app on android. I can't speak to Go 3 or the Inspire as I dont own an Inspire and have only been able...
Hi All, I haven't seen any other posts related to this and I'm a bit surprised. Litchi came out with an update on the 4th of July.
TL,DR: Recent update allows gimbal movement/speed changes outside of signal range in waypoint missions.
Some of us have flown in areas where obstructions/EM...
I found a way to make this work on an android tablet as well using the link below. It requires downloading Google Earth for Android, downloading Firefox Nightly for developers, creating a list in "collections" with the VLM extension on AMO website, enabling debug mode in Firefox Nightly, and...
