Just got my CAA Flyer ID & Operator ID. Obviously not really needed with a Mini 2 but it just demonstrates a level of responsibility and the 40 question test is a good way to learn some of those rules and regulations.

It personalises MY drone. It's easier to see, especially if falls/lands out of sight and I can't afford a bright yellow Porsche 911.

Is it natural to get very anxious on your 'training' flights when you start to send your drone further and further away? When my Mini 2 was becoming a spec in the distances, even on a wide open deserted beach with no obstacles I got a little bit panicky. :eek:

Hope it's ok to jump on this thread. Looking at the attached map from UAV Forecast, I understand there's a good chance of being shot down in the red zone, but it's not clear in the map key what the zones 2 & 3 mean should I fly in them. Can anyone clarify please?
