Hi Rob. I am also in N Devon and fly a DJI M2, when I get a chance, i.e. time and conditions. If you are on IG or FB check out BingsterUK for great local photo's.
Just got my CAA Flyer ID & Operator ID. Obviously not really needed with a Mini 2 but it just demonstrates a level of responsibility and the 40 question test is a good way to learn some of those rules and regulations.
Is it natural to get very anxious on your 'training' flights when you start to send your drone further and further away? When my Mini 2 was becoming a spec in the distances, even on a wide open deserted beach with no obstacles I got a little bit panicky.
Hope it's ok to jump on this thread.
Looking at the attached map from UAV Forecast, I understand there's a good chance of being shot down in the red zone, but it's not clear in the map key what the zones 2 & 3 mean should I fly in them. Can anyone clarify please?
Hi all. Just setting up my mini 2. A bit nervous for my first flight whenever that might be. Wish me luck.
I do have a question about No Fly Zones, to follow. Hoping someone can help.
