I have updated my new Mavic Air from the app and from the assistant. I don’t have the asteroid mode. I even deleted the app and reinstalled. I even used two devices, iPhone and iPad mini 4. Help! Thx

Is there a distance restriction from controller to goggles? Or can they be 1/4 mile apart?

Thanks, that may be my deciding factor ... it would be nice to be able to fly while someone else is looking thru the goggles.

Ok here is one more please. If I have the DJI headset, as I understand it the M Pro will connect wireless. Can I run a phone while someone else looks thru the headset? Als, I think the Air cannot do this, correct?

Wow, thanks guys ... that's a lot to think about. @cwil193 are you saying you can get 3 miles with the air? I am no range junkie and honestly don't see me going over 1/2 mile. Any bigger fire then that we would have Texas Forest Service involved and I'd be grounded anyway.

I have been a phantom pilot for years and I'm on my 3rd Phantom the P4. I'm thinking of switching to the Mavic Air ... I think I would use a smaller drone more often. Really more for fun no professional fotage needed. anyone make a same move? worth it? thx rick
