The airport in South Haven has no control tower. I fly along the lake all the time and get some great shots.

When the Air looses signal, you can have it automatically return to home or just land where it looses signal. I've never flown out of the US but my signal has always been great for as far as I could see it and beyond. I wonder how many people who are having signal be issues have tried...

I've had mine for about 3 weeks and have only had to update everything the day a got it. Not sure why you would get so many updates or why they would keep you from flying...

If noise is your concern, where are you flying that you have to be so quiet? Are you going to be that close to people and/or things that they will be disturbed by it? I would suggest that if you think you are, you are flying too close to whatever will be bothered by the noise of your drone.

If that's your only worry. Don't worry. The Air will usually go as far as you can see it.

If you can afford the air, buy the air. It does everything you find important much better than the Spark. I guarantee you won't regret the cost difference once you fly it for the first time.
