Hello. Just to say I got my PGYTech 2-5 stop VND for my Air 2S today as they were suddenly discounted on Amazon. IMHO they’re not great. Firstly I think the way they’re designed to be so thin snapping and locking them into the lens is very tricky and I nearly thought I was going to break the...
If you're in the UK Currys also have both the standard controller and new RC in stock. The standard controller bundle was also mispriced this morning so I bagged mine for £679 instead of the usual £709. Looks like they've fixed the pricing though but already with DPD for delivery tomorrow :) :)
I got mine yesterday. They appear quieter because of the slightly lower pitch but not quite as low as my Mavic 2 Pro. Still any improvement is good though. At 90m away it is barely audible over ambient noise.
These do feel a bit thinner than the OEM set.
I notice my Air 2S will drift around more when hovering at night as well but other than that I’ve never had any real issues. While I keep the avoidance systems on just in case I do put up with the warnings to keep them active. But when flying at night I look for an even more open space to land...
Just in case anyone is interested looks like Master Airscrew have put t up their Stealth properties for the Air 2S for shipping in a couple of days. This is normally the first upgrade I do to my drones so just FYI if anyone else is interested.
PS - I’m not affiliated to them. I’ve just been...
I found this too but between my new Air 2S and Mini 2. Haven’t tried the new style controller with my Mavic 2 Pro though since that’s linked to a Smart Controller. I thought it was a necessary thing to do when switching, I didn’t realise it was a bug!
Hello all
I'm about to 'sidegrade' from a Mavic 2 Pro to an Air 2S. I've got a Mini 2 as well and one thing I really love about the Mini 2 is the ability to charge via USB-C. I spotted this battery adapter on Amazon UK for a Mavic Air 2 / DJI Air 2S battery to USB-C charger.
Has anyone had...
The best cable to use is a Thunderbolt 3 40GBps capable active cable at under 0.5m in length. Unfortunately the Thunderbolt 3 / USB 3 standards are a mess and incorrect cables (especially with the M1 as I've found with my hub) can lead to connection errors.
Note I used the above cable to...
Hello all. I'v got a brand new MacBook Air M1 as well and tried connecting my Mini 2 and it didn't show up in Disk Utility, the Photos app or Finder. I tried the same drone and cable with my older MacBook Pro Intel i7 and it worked a treat.
As an experiment I tried using the same cable with my...
