My rule of thumb is if I have to ask myself if this is a good idea, it's probably not and I won't do it. Even if others have done the same thing without issue it's your bird and if I'm questioning the flight I simply won't launch.

I have never tried it with go4 but I know in dji assistant it will warn you to remove the props to prevent unwanted or unexpected movement of the aircraft. I would hope dji takes care of this and since it doesn't warn you in go4 but does in assistant that could be your loophole for getting it...

Yep, if your using Sim mode you are advised to remove the props.

I use a great app from the Google play store called UAV forcast. It shows current and future weather for the area you are flying including the wind speeds at different altitudes. If any boxes are red I simply don't fly. I'm glad you got you Air back.
