Thank you very much :)
The Sonoran Desert
That is a fair criticism. The video proper is 2:50 the rest were shots that I wanted to include but didn't have anywhere to put.
This is a short video that I've been working on for the past few months about the desert. I learned that my MavicAir batteries wont charge in temperatures over 104F so I had to throw them in the cooler to charge or wait until after sunset.
Thank you so much for the response.
I should have tried using 24fps
The aspect ratio was an intentional choice but I'm not sure it was right
I did get a few shots using planned flight paths and smart capture mods. Unfortunately none of the shots came out looking as nice as the ones where I was...
Thank you everyone for your kind words
Thank you. I agree it wouldn't have been the same if I just had a tripod on a mountain or a few gopro shots.
Thanks. It's something that I've been thinking of doing for a little while now. I just wasn't sure how to convey it visually
I've been working on this project for a few months now. Usually I just make one off videos about trips but this is an attempt to make a more comprehensive narrative.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
NP Thank you
Thanks. Yes, very cold. A few mornings I was wondering if the mavic would even launch. I slept with my batteries every night.
Thank you
I personally like Long Scraggy Peak. It is less than an hour from Denver, has awesome rocks, and is never crowded.
Thank you.

Thank you
Thank you very much.
I flew those shots LOS in reverse(excluding the last one because I couldn't get a vantage point to look through the ridge). You can usually fly faster and get a smoother shot flying LOS be it forward or in reverse. I learned a lot about flying LOS from Mattias...
A year of flying, a few crashes, and one documentary later I finally made a video that I'm ok looking at.
These are a few of the more interesting places I've been to in that time.
All thoughts and criticism welcomed. I have a long way to go and appreciate other pilots opinions.
Almost two miles of rugged cliffs that connect Red Peak with Mt. Silverthorn. I've been climbing longer than I've been flying so I always appreciate helpful criticism.
Amazing light and reflections on the buildings. Did you launch from a roof or the streets? I'm still too afraid to fly in areas with buildings and power lines.
Personally I'm more concerned with people peeping through my webcam or phone camera/mic. Most people in developed countries willingly carry around a camera and microphone 24/7 that can be accessed by others wirelessly without notification. Most drones that are commercially available have a wide...
Since the dawn of photography people have been drawn to sunrise and sunset. From the long dramatic shadows that stretch on for miles to the ruby red hues with contrasting deep blues. I'd like to see how everyone uses the most dynamic natural light to compose their shots. How does it effect what...
Awesome work. 1:20 and 1:50 were my favorite shots by far. I dream of being able to fly through clouds that low and somewhat consolidated(not just fog). I think you captured the enormity and drama of the mountains and clouds. I'm looking forward to seeing more from you
