There is a drone meetup on the second Saturday of every month at 5052 Plaza on the Lake from 10-12pm. The property fronts Lake Austin right next to the 360 bridge. Good place to fly and a lot of nice people. Next one is on March 9th.

With the update I no longer get motor current error warnings while flying my MPP. Maybe do to the optimized propulsion system? For that alone it’s worth it to me.

It has been upgraded to 64 bit by Lockheed Martin on a platform called Prepar3d. They bought the rights from Microsoft several years ago and are selling it for commercial and personal use.

So I have 4 batteries. Got the "motor current error" warning while flying one battery the other day. Today I flew three batteries. While flying with the first battery (not the one from the other day) I got 2 motor current error warnings - one while ascending, the other while traveling forward...

I’ll probably run four batteries on Saturday and let you know if that’s the case.

No need for what?

No need to calibrate the compass unless the instructs you to do so. This is per the manual. Home point is established by the Mavic’s GPS. The cameras at the bottom of the drone also take an image of the takeoff point for more precise landing when utilizing RTH. After takeoff let the drone hover...

In the manual DJI instructs to calibrate only when prompted by the app. I’ve taken my Mavic hundreds of miles from my home area and, so far, have never had to calibrate.
