Is bad that I’m little mad?

If I had to fly LOS, I would not have purchased it. However, I'm not a proponent of reckless flying to endanger people. I don't fly over people, hover in windows, fly "low" over peoples houses, etc. "to me" there is a difference between responsible flying and irresponsible flying. Even legal...

    Return To Home In Dark?

What happened to my video? Very jerky when I pan on youtube.

.. and while you're at editing, throw out 80% of what you shot and just keep the good stuff Ya, this was two camping trips worth of data. I had an hours worth if not more. I tried to cut it down. Most my videos are about 4 or less minutes. This one got away with being too long, but didn't...

What happened to my video? Very jerky when I pan on youtube.

I'm not looking for any effects, just clear video. Guess I'll try 30 or more FPS (96?) at 1080p next time. I do see what your are saying Plawa, I also see two frames of data when I pause the video! Something ain't right.

What happened to my video? Very jerky when I pan on youtube.

Any tips or ideas on why my video looks so bad when I pan? I shot in 4k at 24fps. I edited it using Vegas Pro 15 edit version. It came out at 4 k at 23.97 fps. I uploaded and walked away to work today, so I have to rewatch the video on my PC vice youtube at work. I don't "think" it was that...

    Flying at night

I'd like to see the FAA make a single private company mandatory... Like the government say EVERYONE will have only Farmers insurance and no one else. Same as good ol Trump saying it is mandatory to have health insurance and only ONE company is legal, Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska...

    Flying at night

I see nothing in your quote of the FAA that says anything about AMA or being a member of the AMA. Those three letters are not mentioned anywhere. The AMA is not the only CBO. Fly for hobby or recreation ONLY Register your model aircraft Fly within visual line-of-sight Follow community-based...

    Max Altitude?

Of course (in the US) 400 ft is only for those flying under 107. Recreational has no restriction on height or night.

    Max Altitude?

Don't think there is. Pressure decreases with altitude weather (pun) its above sea or above land. The density at 15000 ASL would be the same as 10 feet above the mountain.

    Lighted blades....your thoughts

I have them. Really cool, but for some reason, they really screw with the stability of the Mavic. Mine drifts a lot in a hover, doesn't fly straight lines, and when going over about 20mph, it has a really bad wobble. On amazon, where I got mine, there are a few reviews confirming that. I...

    Max Altitude?

1/2 the people in Colorado wouldn't be able to take off if the max was 6000 ASL. I've flown as high as 12,500 ASL.

    Max Altitude?

Possible...at 9,000ft. But obviously as a newbie, you would know if you modified the firmware. At 5200 ft it took my mavic 7:38 seconds to come down at stock speeds ~10ft per seconds. But, at 6000 ft, unless you modified the battery parameters, it will force you to land due to "it's"...

    dumbest video ever!

Nope, US and NON 107 (recreational fliers), not aware of any height limits, only 400ft recommendation (400 max mandatory for 107 pilots), never heard of a restriction on night or moving cars. I haven't check regulations in 6 months. Never mind, just check the FAA website for "recreational...

    dumbest video ever!

You can already fly your stock Mavic 4x higher than the legal limit in the US. ..... That's why I'm not 107, forget the 400ft limit. Besides, modding doesn't necessarily mean 1000 ft straight up. Sometimes you mode the height just to climb a mountain never exceeding a 100ft above the ground...
