I have been using a Samsung a50 with no problems whatsoever, my tab a will not work, it's a 2018 and only 32 bit, dji fly is not available in the play store and no way to side load.

Can someone please guide me to exactly what course to apply for with the FAA in regards to professional drone use such as in realty and building inspections ?

That's what I was curious about, mostly distance, and without cage. High winds and rain for the next three days, I'll have to wait. My biggest fear is if I would be able to fly out 2500 or 3000feet payload would kick in and my mm would get a mind of it's own and say goodbye !!!

I know we are instructed to engage payload mode when using the prop guards which weigh 46 grams and limit flight to 250 feet. My question is after installing the pyg leg extensions, (18.3 grams) and the strobe I just purchased.( 16.7 grams) for a total add on weight of 35 grams and a total craft...

Just finished watching a forty five minute video explaining the upcoming proposals in regards to flying drones. Some I understood, a lot I didn't. It's on YOUTUBE, PILOT INSTITUTE, gives a good headsup on what may be coming. This video was released on Friday, December 27.

I've been asked by several friends that if I manually landed, say at 400 yards away, still having good contact with my mm between the controller and the craft, will I have the ability to take off and return to home or am I in for a walk ??

I agree, there are probably thousands of mm's gifted and a lot of folks are going to be disappointed because they can't fly, really bad press !!!!!!!

I really hope so, can't afford another tablet, bought everything for my mini but turn signals, hard case and such. Samsung rep. Basically said same thing, have patience.

32 bit, I checked it with the 64 bit counter app.

Checked this evening, my tab A is only 32 gig, can't really take it back or pay a $50 restock fee, I should have done my homework first, guess I'll just buy a stronger pair of reading glasses. I really want to thank all for your help and advice. Beyond all that, I wish you all a VERY MERRY...

DJI FLY app seems to be the only problem, other dji apps will load.

Thank's for your response. I'm not that tech savvy at all on how to manually install. I'm going to seek help from a computer geek friend of mine tomorrow, I'll let you know what transpires. I really hope it works, I can't afford another device, again thank you very much and have a blessed holiday.

The fly app isn't in the play store on my tab A note. I did get it as far as download then apk file, then it moves to staging and asks if I want to download, it tries but then I get the message app not installed, that's as far as I can get.
