I think I wrote that wrong. I thought the orange skin was really visible. Mine looks like a rust bucket and doesn't add to the visibility. I just thought it looked cool. My strobe on the other hand, now that's visible. I do need to get some photos of my drone in the air, though.

We went to Hawaii in 2017 and maybe things were different there then. LAANC was not there yet. I call the Air Traffic Control tower for authorization and also on a couple of beaches, asked the park staff. I had no problem getting the go ahead to fly. As do all of us here, I flew following...

This skin is a great idea for the visible color. I wanted to make sure I'm able to see my drone a long ways away so I bought this strobe and attached it to my Mavic Pro. Looks very visible from a quite a ways. There are a few versions out there, some better than others but this one is helping...

Patience, we don't need no stinkin patience...Opened it up right away! Put it together, started it up in my living room and immediately crashed it into the wall. Great start. Never started it up in my house again, geeeez... Knock on wood, have never crashed again since 2017.

Great, beautiful and wondrous video!!! At the 2:01minutes mark, was that Ayers Rock? I had a chance to climb it back in 1995. Spent two weeks in Alice Springs on assignment with the US Air Force. Best assignment ever!

Nice list, thanks. The only thing I would add is to check the weather. I know that might be dumb just looking at a clear sky, but I use "UAV Forecast" App and love it. Thanks again for the great work.

I like skins for the reason most like it. Makes your UAS distinct, personal and protects it from small scratches and dings. I did have to send mine to DJI for repairs and they asked me to remove the shin. You cannot reuse a skin. I tried to save it, but stretches too much and gets cut up...
