LOL I'm always a little cheered when someone makes reference to The Beachcombers. It means they are Canadian and as old as I am. :) Living in Nick's town is actually kinda cool. :)

I like(d) playing with the automated flight modes on my M2P but, when I went looking for them to edit/add to my videos, all I could find was the 10-second "quickies" with music and a DJI graphic bug included. DO. NOT. WANT. The originals weren't on the mSD card when I pulled it from the drone...

Yeah the Sunshine Coast is very pretty. LOL So many of us Canadians of a certain age did! It's kinda cool living in the same town as Nick and Relic. :) I was on that dock but in the other direction, flying out in the harbour.

Thanks! Oh, so do I. I *completely* agree with and understand DJI's policy. Far too many unscrupulous people would take advantage of them otherwise. I just hope they can see that, from the flight logs and in *my* case, they should make an exception. :)

Ah. I see you are wise in the ways of batteries. Where's that "bah dum dum" drum hit emoticon? :)

Ah! Got it. I thought it might be like my motorcycle battery and trickle charge. I don't hold out much hope for that. I'm relying on DJI to "do the right thing" and replace it. Fingers crossed.

LOL Fine. I'll be more clear. My *other* M2P battery is now sitting all alone on the charger, waiting to see if it will ever get matched up with an M2P ever again. In the meantime, what should I do to extend its battery life?

What if your M2P is at the bottom of a harbour? :( Do you leave the battery on the charger or take it off and let it sit to discharge on its own?

Butt ugly but might come in handy for me in the future. :)

LOL An inflatable kayak wouldn't have helped in this situation. As to "flying over water", we live on an island. We kinda have to sometimes. :)
