I bought the smart controller after buying the MA2 and then later the M2P. I am so sorry that I didn't buy it with one of the packages. I love using it. I have used a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and an Ipad Air 2019 to fly with and prefer the smart controller over both.

I shot this photo with a MA2 using a ND9 filter with a lens opening of f2.8, an ISO of 100 and a shutter speed of 3 seconds. It was shot just as the sun came over the horizon. I use ND filters for these type of shots and when I want to shoot light trails just before dawn and just after dusk.

You can also turn your phone into a mobile hot spot so that your tablet automatically connects and you will have maps. I do that with my smart controller and it works great.

Does anyone have issues with their MA2 not keeping a level horizon? I often have to manually adjust the gimball while in the air so that my horizon stays level. I have done auto adjustment on a level surface but it doesn't seem to hold for very long. It happens in both video and photo modes.

I purchased those floats and tried them once. There was a little breeze and the MA2 was all over the place. I never used them again.
