Am i liable if i hire non licensed pilot for real estate video?

Just ask them to show you their license. A 107 licensed pilot should be happy to show you. Make a copy and keep it on file as proof that you received a copy of their license. If there is some push back, time to look for another pilot. I'm no lawyer but would guess you could be liable if you do...

FAA to UAS Violation Enforcement for December 2021 (hopefully one of many)

You somehow convently left out the supplied Note in the FAA rules about controlled airspace. Which Says to quote "Note: Flying drones in certain airspace is not allowed. Classes of airspace and flying restrictions can be found on our B4UFLY app or the UAS Facility Maps webpage." If they need to...

FAA to UAS Violation Enforcement for December 2021 (hopefully one of many)

They are really straight forward if you read the rules for what they are. Problem is people try to find ways and excuses to not have to follow the rules. In the first case, "sectional rules" are nowhere in 44809 exception does it state you need to understand them. What the FAA web sight does say...

FAA to UAS Violation Enforcement for December 2021 (hopefully one of many)

It's not just "big heavy trucks". Many "box trucks" can be rated at 26k lbs GVWR and only requires a regular operators license. If you drive one (such as a 26' UHaul truck) and overload it so it weighs over 26k you would need a CDL. I had a 36' 5th wheels trailer that I vacationed with. Using...

FAA to UAS Violation Enforcement for December 2021 (hopefully one of many)

That's not even close. Try this. Driving a truck with a GVWR of 26k or over requires you to have a CDL. If you have a regular operators license and are driving a 26k GVWR truck over 26k pounds you can not only charged with the over weight truck, but not having a CDL and any other violations that...

    BVLOS ARC Report live webinar

What happens in the case of autonomous UA where the drone is flying a mission on it's own (as some DJI consumer drones can do) with no connection to the controller which is much more likely to happen BVLOS.

Did you view the video in post #16?

Air2S and Litchi POI Orbit sideways jerky

If you can that mission in the Mission Hub public would be great as others could use it for their own uses.!

Air2S and Litchi POI Orbit sideways jerky

As the OP said in the first post, using the Litchi Orbit function results in a jerky video. Using waypoints helps solve that issue.

Air2S and Litchi POI Orbit sideways jerky

Just crate about 12 or 16 waypoints in a circle around your POI then use a curved path between the waypoint to simulate a circle. The reason this works better, IMHO, is because a waypoint POI is calculated using a GPS location. The Orbit mode in Litchi is using the camera in the phone to...

Air2S and Litchi POI Orbit sideways jerky

Flying slower helps smooth it out some. I have found that creating an orbit using a POI mission is smoother then using the built in Orbit.

Virtual litchi mission and mini 2

I use it with the Mini 2 all of the time. Just make sure the FOV is set 83 to get the correct camera view.
