ipad Mini for the win. You will use the screen a lot to see what the camera sees, plus there is a ton of info presented on the screen. The bigger the screen the better. An iPad mini fits in the arms perfectly.

I was thinking the same thing. But the ID software may not even need to be connected to the drone. All the info is, or can be, down linked to the remote control. Then just link the RC to the phone.
