Okay cool thanks, I may just actually invest in a pair then. If nothing it seems like it would make for awesome shots of the drone itself at night-time.
Ahh, my biggest fear of flying my drone further than 1k-2k ft is crashing into a bird and losing my drone lmaoo, it's like a mental block that I'll never overcome.
It's a shame because it only takes one or two irresponsible flyers to portray a bad image on the entire community. Most people on here that would love to fly the Mavic in NYC would definitely be responsible. But there are definitely people that would do stupid risks/ and have unfortunately...

Just out of curiosity, how has the LED propellers/guards affected your flight time or stability. Does it function similar to the stock propellers? Was looking into some on Amazon.
How exactly does this work, just for future references. If someone flys the drone and you have the serial number, DJI is able to track its GPS location?
Ah, I was hoping this thread would have some answers. I'm also 10 min away from Old Bridge and it seems the restrictions on drones have just gotten worse. Feels like I can't fly anywhere that's even reasonably scenic :/
Honestly, I've seen some of the horror stories and feel it's best to just land it on the ground. Only case where I'd land it on my hand is over water, over severe debris that could damage the lens.
