And another one lol.
Joking apart, its always baffled me about the range. Whenever a new Drone comes out its always got improved range, now up to 10kms for some. At anything approaching a fraction of this how can anyone have VLOS?
I wouldn't use one of these unless it has a pure sinewave output. I've destroyed many power tool batteries in the past using a cheap square wave or modified sinewave 110v inverter.
The problem is people see too many movies and think your drone can zoom in and see anything close up and spy on them.
I would just let it go, avoid his property and fly as high as you can to reduce the drone noise.
On the Mini 1 the battery itself locks in, there's a little catch on the battery you have to push in to get the battery out. Then the door also snaps shut, this item seems pretty pointless unless MM2 batteries don't lock in?
What would be magnetic on a plastic drone? Maybe a prop motor housing but that would be about it surely?
if there’s any metal on the roof the chances of getting stuck to that would be pretty high I would imagine.
I remember one time I flew up through some power lines, my mini flew faultless BTW.
On returning I lost sight of it and got in a bit of a panic as I couldn't bring it down too low for fear of hitting the lines, I could hear it but not see it. I realized I has flown slightly past my location so...
When I ordered my Mini direct from the DJI store app there were no extra charges or taxes, just priced in US $.
I was disappointed to learn it was shipping from China when I thought it was coming from the US but in the end was not a problem as it arrived within five days.
