I saw this on the DJI website. What does this mean? "The ground unit will consume a similar amount of data". Does it mean you will use the same amount of data if you not using Wi-Fi? Correct?

Sorry, one more question. Why does the Dongle 2 use so much data to operate? Is there a hack so it can use less data? In South Africa where I live, we have one of the most expensive 4G data subscription services in the world. Thanks to everyone for your feedback.

Hi, I'm really confused about the DJI cellular dongle 2? Do you need a sim card in the dongle 2 and your phone to be able to get 4G connection? And if so, do both of the sim cards need to have data in them? Please can someone clarify? Thanks.
