    Good car charger?

It's actually the other way ... Mavic batteries require 13.1V - so the 12V is actually dc-dc converted up (boost) to 13.1V. Also, AFAIK, Mavic batteries do not have onboard cell balancing, otherwise there would be no need to report all three cell voltages in the GO4 app.

    Lighted blades....your thoughts

This is correct, there are no night flying restrictions for hobbyists but part 107 owners need to apply for a night flying waiver from the FAA. With that said, this is only required for commercial flights ... just because you have a part 107 doesn't mean that you are no longer a hobbyist!

    Good car charger?

Just for info, most cheap invterters use what's known as a 'modified sine wave' to invert DC to AC, these are fine for things like kettles but can cause problems with electronic gear. If an inverter is the way you're going, I would recommend getting a 'pure sine wave' inverter. These tend to be...

    Good car charger?

Inverting DC to mains to only then rectify back to DC will never be as efficient as a good quality DC-DC converter. If you need mains, choose an inverter. If you need DC, either buy one of the many battery packs that charge drone batteries (e.g. Energen) or use the DJI 12V charger. To answer...

    Under carriage handle?

You could maybe try something like this 'catch handle' on thingiverse: Dji Mavic Catch Handle by ColeT Or make use of something like this this mount: DJi Mavic Pro Camera mount for GoPro, Gear 360, Ricoh Theta & LG 360 Cam by jeanmariecannie and either mount a handle using a 1/4" nut or...

    SIM free flying set up

If you can't see the wifi SSID then the Mavic Air is likely not broadcasting it - you need to enter 'association mode' (I made that up). I don't have a Mavic Air but I believe you enter this mode by long pressing the button at the rear, something will likely start flashing and the wifi network...

    Synching p/v to phone

Yeah, so do mine - I think this is just the way the GO4 app catalogues them (there are additional files associated with each image, such as thumbnails etc) and, therefore, by design. The uSD card storing the originals are numbered per the setting in the picture settings menu i.e. Reset or...

    Mavic Air or pro

The Mavic Air's wifi connection is said to be 'enhanced wifi', not sure exactly what this means technically but if you compare it to your typical wifi router that might get 100m before loosing signal, the Mavic Air is specified at 4,000m (in the US)!! Now this waaaaaaaay beyond visual line of...

    Synching p/v to phone

The 'usual' method of getting at your photos and videos is to remove the uSD from the Mavic and copy them across to your computer using a uSD card reader but, with that said, you can download individual photos and videos to your phone via the GO4 'play' library page, just touch the download icon...

    Flying Inside A Cinema?

Is it possible to just disable the downward ultrasonic sensors without also disabling the vision sensors? I'm just thinking that going over chairs, stages etc, your drone will be going up and down trying to maintain 0.5m above the sensed ground.

Need Help Picking Correct ND Filters

I believe the Mavic's Noise Reduction is switched off at Sharpness +1 or above. Why sharpness is linked to noise reduction I don't know but there are plenty of analysis videos on YouTube discussing this.

    losing image transmission

Bit of a hail-Mary but you could try refreshing the firmware on the RC. Just plug it into your computer and load up DJI Assistant and click Firmware > Refresh. You can also download the RC's 'blackbox' logs, might have some insight into why you're getting connection problems. I'm no expert on...
