Under carriage handle?

Is anyone using a handle of any type attached to the bottom of the Mavic Pro to help in catching. I was on a friends boat yesterday doing some video and had a heck of a time grabbing on. Not impossible just tougher than being on land. I was hoping their might be a small extension or handle type thing I could attach to the bottom. I'm working on a few ideas I have, just wondered if someone else has tried it yet?

You could maybe try something like this 'catch handle' on thingiverse: Dji Mavic Catch Handle by ColeT



Or make use of something like this this mount: DJi Mavic Pro Camera mount for GoPro, Gear 360, Ricoh Theta & LG 360 Cam by jeanmariecannie and either mount a handle using a 1/4" nut or something with a GoPro mount:
