I use the lumecube strobe which I glued to a gopro mount (I removed the screw and applied the velcro on the mount). This way the drone stays pristine and the whole thing removes much nicer than by putting the light on/off using the velcro strip that comes with the light.

Checked mine (M2Z also) and while it's not exactly squeaking it does give way when I squeeze it with a slight rubbing sensation. I suppose it has to do with how the non-structural panels are held to the frame.

Are you sure you have your drone AND the Crystalsky updated to latest firmware? I had the same "issue" with the smaller CrystalSky but once both the drone and the display were updated the Crystalsky was happily showing the Mavic 2...

If it was in ATTI mode an out-of-calibration IMU would explain the issue. Have you tried calibrating the IMU through the Go4 App?

Have you checked the condition of your propellers? If the prop with the warmer motor is damaged somehow, the motor needs to turn faster to provide same lift as the other props. This would explain why it ran hotter.

Apparently you have applied and tightened the lens in a really damp environment. Remove the front lens (unscrew carefully), wipe all dry (wet wipes used for applying screen protectors onto phone displays work great) and reapply the lens in air that is drier, e.g. under an AC that's blasting...

I had the Note 5 as my first display with the Mavic Air - worked absolutely fine. I see no reason why it would not work with the M2Z...

I always thought that this is where the L-connector of the short phone cable goes, if you leave it connected to the controller and stow the arms?

The perceived noise is definitely much less. It's very apparent. Have not gotten longer flight times with my typical flying style (I think hover-only tests are so much off the real situation that I do not even look at them)... Hope this helps

For absolute longest flight times you'll benefit most from keeping the battery warm. Yes, that's right... 40-45 deg Centigrade is where you want to keep it in order to extract most energy from the battery itself. To do that it's best to charge-up just before flying and/or warm up the batt itself...
