I have now had my first test flights which all went well. However, I´m not familiar with all functions and settings of the drone. This is an early stage. A question: when taking off to the initial height of 120cm and continuing ascending to a preset height of 120m the drone tends to drift backwards. The camera is facing away from me. I need to compensate with forward stick simultaneously. This is independent if there is a wind or not. Silly question, but is this normal? I have calibrated the compass.

Hi, there’s two possibilities that I can think of.
1. You were flying in ATTI mode
2. There were too many interference in your area, and it screwed up your compass and IMU.

I had a similar issue when I tried to take off besides a metal bridge, it just wonder around right after take off.
If that’s the case you should be able to see some warning message on your screen. I hope it helps.

If it was in ATTI mode an out-of-calibration IMU would explain the issue. Have you tried calibrating the IMU through the Go4 App?

thank you for your replies. I will out your suggestions IF the rain will stop
