Just a quick update . . . The new firmware update for the air 2 Fixes the Grey Bar issue with 8K hyperlapse. Tested it today.

I found that you can playback 8K hyperlapse video on the mac with sPlayer from the App Store. It is a free to use app and it plays the hyperlapse video without the greybars.

I have a Mini and just ordered the Air 2 Fly More combo. I upgraded for the following reasons. Better signal strength Tracking capabilities Much better camera

Since there is no mic on the mini and prop noise is an issue, I simultaneously take video with another cell phone and do a Multicam sync in Final Cut Pro. It takes a bit off effort but works fine for me.

Thanks to the pointer to Ebay - I bought an extra battery there (For the price of two on the DJI store). I'm also learning to look at local stores for instock accessories since the DJI store does not ship for 10-15 days after they receive your payment!
