I've had a since 2017 too, but they stopped doing updates years ago, so can't imagine what updates you are referring to? The only updates they do is to nfz's occasionally. Mine still flys perfectly and does everything is says on the tin, unlike some of "stuff", they're putting out these days.

Oh no it doesn't, sorry to disappoint you, +30 degrees max, (from horizontal). How do know? I've got one. Still fly's like a dream (after 5 years), and does everything it says on the box! unlike some of the new stuff they're putting out. I can't believe people are buying expensive "prototypes"...

I agree with "recalibrate on request" only. One thing (I read this somewhere else first) I always do is, immediately after take off is I hover and do a slow 360 turn on the spot which I think settles the compass down. I've flown a M.Pro for over 4 years and never had a problem.

Reading your post closely this DIDN'T happen to you, but in times of panic things can get muddled....I'd had a nice evening flight around 20 minutes like yourself, I wasn't to far away but I'd stayed out to long and realised I was running late so I pressed the RTH button, m...y Mavic Pro turned...
