30m-60m Altitude gain over a 15min mission flight time

Hi guys, no, no update, unfortunately 3 of the 5 drones have crashed from batteries overheating and stopping dead in the sky... DJI have asked for all the drones and batteries back as they hadn't heard of this occurring before. Sounds like we were sold a dead bunch of drones to be honest.

DJI Mavic enterprise - melting batteries

Yes all the contacts were clean, and all 5 drones were causing the batteries to melt, or vice versa, all the batteries are showing melting regardless of which drone they're in.

DJI Mavic enterprise - melting batteries

Hi there Has anyone else come across this amount of melting batteries? We have approx 20 batteries servicing 4 drones and they are all now showing burn marks in the lower left 4 contacts. The drone body also shows melting of plastic. Is this common?? Batteries all on average have 70 cycles each.

30m-60m Altitude gain over a 15min mission flight time

HI Meta, it showed about an 8metre error in manual flight flying the same path at the indicated 15m on the controller vs 43m error when left to fly the mission on its own.

30m-60m Altitude gain over a 15min mission flight time

Thanks I thought I had read elsewhere that the GPS altitude was used initially but I didn't know it was only for 20ft before the baro input took over. Cheers

30m-60m Altitude gain over a 15min mission flight time

Just tried the same mission at 15m indicated on the controller, the error on landing was 8m, so much less than the automatic mode but still well over what I thought the GPS altitude could maintain given it was locating 17 satellites at any one time.

30m-60m Altitude gain over a 15min mission flight time

Thanks for all the replies, recalibrated the IMU and compass and flying the same mission it also came back with a 43m error on landing...

30m-60m Altitude gain over a 15min mission flight time

Thanks for the idea. I downloaded the DJI assistant and recalibrated all sensors but again after a 6 minute flight the result was a 43m error in altitude. Have lodged reports with the place of purchase who is contacting DJI on our behalf... They're not particularly trustworthy in their current...

30m-60m Altitude gain over a 15min mission flight time

Pretty hard to see in the shot with the sun over my shoulder, but the screen says 19.8m as the drone is returning home. The windmills in the shot are 13m high and they are miles beneath the drone, so I'm assuming it is actually at 70m altitude based on the -50m reading on landing plus the 20m...

30m-60m Altitude gain over a 15min mission flight time

Heres the flight log from this morning. Appeared with a constant 15m indicated on the screen but upon landing was -49.6m indicating it had climbed to 65m in altitude throughout the flight. Very frustrating... https://www.phantomhelp.com/LogViewer/IHKTFASEDSEJEZD5ZP1X/

30m-60m Altitude gain over a 15min mission flight time

Thanks, I don't think there is any interference around, the vineyard is a wide open expanse of land with only some high tension pylons in a distant corner.

30m-60m Altitude gain over a 15min mission flight time

Hi all Just wondering if anyone else has this issue with their mavic enterprise? We have 5 for use over a vineyard (flat land) and after a 15 minute mission all 5 seem to gain 30 - 60m in altitude by the time they have finished the run. Is there any way to improve the accuracy so it can...
