Why all the updates ?? I shoot video for a couple companies and try take my mavic but you get to your shoot and it needed an update so you scramble to find a connection .. My parrot worked out of the box , it did say I can check for updates but it still flew . Dji requires a registered...

My mavic has let me down on 2 winter holidays, been in for repair for camera not working after 2 flights and now gimble error .. In Costa Rica it said it needed update and would not fly without it!! I have flown it 5 times at home and it was great . Just too fragile and too many software bugs .

Mavic has been nothing but crap !! Constant updates keep me from flying and now gimble motor error after update !!! I am selling it . My parrot bebop always works :) Are the phantoms Any good or are they problematic like the mavic ?

I get Wi-Fi that's really slow and intermittent in a lobby. Tried a few times to sign in or do anything . It will work when I get home I am sure .

I bought a stupid parrot and it just works .. Not as good as mavic in a lot of ways but if it wasn't so bulky it would be here and getting used . I do some freelance work for a cable company And take both the mavic and parrot . Sadly the mavic spends more time updating or stuck at 100ft max ...

It won't even connect ? First flight it went only 10 ft high .. Now I can't get it to connect to my iPad. My Samsung tab says the same ? It wants to see a Wi-Fi connection and an update .

Will it ever work ? Last year I purchased a mavic to take on holidays , it shows up late ... Works great at home , go anywhere without Wi-Fi and nope . So here I am in Costa Rica with a drone I updated the day we left and it's telling me it needs update here !!! Thanks again dgi.
