There are - so far I've bought two of them and neither worked with the controller. You plug them in and the controller just beeps periodically and the app doesn't recognize the controller.
I was hoping someone here had experience with a longer cable that DID work.
Unfortunately, that one is too short as well. I need something that is at least 3 feet long. I'm putting my cell phone in a goggles device that I wear on my head, so it has to reach from my head to the controller
Can anyone recommend a longer version of a cable that works for the Air 2S controller that is more like 3 to 6 feet? I'm afraid the 1' cables are too short.
Not a fly more . . . just a Mavic Air with an extra battery and 11 months left of DJI Care. I took it out for a short test flight today and it worked perfectly.
That's great news. I've already logged in on my smart devices to fly the P4P and Mavic Pro, so it sounds like I should be all set. The seller did send me the warranty info tied to the serial number . . . love having the coverage for almost a full year.
Thanks!
I just picked up a lightly used Mavic Air - still has 11 months on its Care warranty so it's basically new. But it has gone through the set up process with another account and been flown a few times.
What do I need to do to get this drone on my DJI account, or do I even need to?
Very true. Wal Mart has it for $299 now as a clearance item on their website. I went to the local Wal Mart and it was displayed at $299, but they didn't have any in stock. I went to Best Buy and they price-matched Wal-Mart so I could get the one I wanted. I'm looking forward to trying this out...
That looks like a good approach, but I'd have to buy another DJI mount on top of the Mavmount to make it work, right? Otherwise I'd still have to unscrew the CS bracket from the Phantom RC and screw it down on the Mavmount - is that right?
cool, I guess I'll go that route. My Shield is sitting around gathering dust now, so it will be good to put it back to use!
I'll order a mavmount this evening!
So I'd remove the DJI plate and attach your plate?
I'd love to use the CS but I know I'd end up losing the plate or losing the screws as I was changing things out LOL
I really like your mount though - I have an NVidia Shield and if I find out it works well with the Go 4 app and the Mavic Pro...
The Mavmount looks like a good option, as does the PolarPro - I want to be able to pop my CS off my P4P remote and drop it onto the Mavic Pro remote, without messing with screws or anything like that. Do either of these devices work with the CS in that way?
I have a group on Facebook and I described my situation to them - two others have had the exact same problem. That's four Mavics with the same problem (two of mine and then those two guys) in a relatively small population . . . 175 members, but most are Yuneec owners.
I'm going to test the...
