I will add my name to the list of owners whose Mavic 2 Air's have cracks.....same place as in the photos above. Cracks in the casing near two legs, no crashes or heavy landings. Posting it back to DJI soon as my Mavic 2 Air also has a poor quality lens (top right of the photo is extremely...
I try and fly by the rules and do the correct thing. In Switzerland I wanted to fly my drone about 4km from a heliport (Interlaken) so technically within the 5km zone. After telephoning the airport I was sent by email a form to complete. For some reason, the heliport wanted 24 hours notice...
Mostly filmed in the same morning....made the best of the weather before an incoming weather front. Helps having the 3 batteries too and also knowing the area.

As a side note, I am finding that the Mavic 2 Air is producing some great results. FAR better than the Mavic Mini and not far behind the Mavic 2 Pro. Photo quality is not as good as the mavic 2 Pro but the video quality appears to me to be comparible. Working on another video now, part 2...
One for the rail fans.....Swiss trains in the lakes and mountains of Switzerland. Filmed mostly yesterday in perfect weather using the Mavic 2 Air and also Fuji X-T30 cameras. The shots were taken around the small town of Oberreid which sits next to Lake Brienz (Brienzersee). Trains from...
I wonder if I have missed the point of the triple battery charger that is part of the Mavic 2 Air Fly More combo.
Very nice idea I thought BUT it only charges one battery at a time. I assumed that a multiple battery charger would charge ALL the batteries at the same time, but apparently...
A stunning video and a joy to watch ThumbswayupThumbswayupThumbswayup. I hope that we see more video like this, as it shows what a drone can produce when used properly.
As somebody else said above, DJI should be using this to sell their drones. Superb work !
thanks

I will nit return to Mexico again because of the ban on drone flying there. It is definitely a factor in my choice of holiday destinations now whether or not I am allowed to fly a drone.
Plenty of destinations to choose and a country which allows drone flying is more likely to get my tourist...
But in this case as there was no evidence of a crime comitted by the people in question then the police acted wrongly. I would also argue that breaking down a door to gain entry (and did I read that some of the police were armed?) would also constitute use of excessive and unreasonable force...
But the important point here is that the police cannot go around arresting innocent people when they do not have evidence. To arrest somebody there needs to be evidence, and in this case there was none. From what I read online, the people did not even own a drone and were at work at the time...
I hope all the other drone owners who were arrested also start a private prosecution against the police for wrongful arrest. There USED to be a principal of 'innocent until proven guilty' but this shows that it is the opposite. Owning a drone is not a criminal offence, nor does it warrant...
With the Mavic 2 Pro it was more or less essential to colour grade the videos, but with the Mavic 2 Air then I am not so sure. It will be useful to learn what people think.

Wondering how many Mavic 2 Air owners are using D-Cinelike?? Given the limits of the sensor, how many of you are using D-Cinelike? Interested to hear !!
