Try clearing the video cache in the app, reducing the video quality sent to your device, and increasing the cache limit to 7GB. Can't guarantee it will work, but this has (mostly) resolved the problem for me.

Hi guys, please help me troubleshoot this, it's been a persistent problem for 6 months.
Every flight of my MP1 I lose the video feed after about 3-5 minutes. I maintain control of the drone. No controlled error messages. Everything else about the smart phone display is ok, eg: Compass...
I'd like to be able to replace the battery in the controller with a spare.
The controller is slow to charge, especially because it simultaneously charge the phone/tablet.
Usually, the day comes to an end because of my inability to quickly charge the controller.
If I could swap the controller...
Hi all,
I've accidentally recorded a fairly large number of clips at 96fps @ 1080p.
Obviously, these videos play in slow motion (1/4 of normal speed).
I didn't expect this prior to filming, and I need to convert them to 24fps so they play at normal speed.
I can use Cyberlink Powerdirector 15...
Easiest way is to install the "Can I fly there?" app.
Unless you're travelling way out of the city I wouldn't bother. Likely to just be a headache.
Just use your selfie stick like all the other tourists and concentrate on having a good holiday.
In Australia drones are most fun in areas with...
Is it possible to put a USB-bluetooth adapter or something similar to act as a virtual cable between the remote controller and a smartphone?
It can't be that hard to create a virtual connection between the remote controller and a smartphone or tablet.
Has anyone tried this?
I don't understand why the mavic pro doesn't offer the ability to swap batteries on the controller. By the time I've used 3-4 batteries on the drone, the controller is dead. I've tried plugging an external battery into side micro-USB port of controller and it only slightly slows the discharge...
Hi guys, I can provide an update on this.
Here is a summary of my experience:
I started by messaging DJI via messenger on facebook. Their response was fairly prompt and useful on nearly every occasion (fairly good 24/7 support). After requesting the input of a high-level tech support person on...
You would produce and extremely large amount of data at 120m, and would churn through, I don't know, 50-100 batteries?
For the hassle, I think you'd be far better off getting paying for proper aerial photography
That is a big area. What resolution do you need?
Theoretically, you could do it with a Mavic and Drone deploy.
The limiting factor for Drone deploy is the total amount of data you upload.
Therefore, if you set it up to take photos from a very high altitude (eg, 500m) it could capture a lot...
I need to clarify: The screen shot in the post above was 'prior' to making the IP and subnet changes.
After making those changes (and with the drone turned on, connected, and connected to Assistant 2), IPCONFIG shows the following config:
I have also checked the IP / subnet settings again...
