I received an email from them as well, looking for pilots to do cell tower inspections. I too would be interested if anyone has experience working with them. I know they are affiliated with Florida Drone Supply, that's about all I know about them.

Got popped for the first time last weekend, mostly due to stupidity on my part. Took off from a small balcony and was having trouble getting it back. Instead of turning off the sensors, I tried to back it in. Sensors kicked in at the last minute and I instinctively reached for it. Ouch...

Lake Woodlands is a fun spot to fly around. I've been to Northshore Park a time or two and flown from one of the piers.

Came across an issue this morning where I could not get a Litchi orbit mission to play. I would hit "start" and the drone would orient itself toward the POI, then stop and end the orbit mission. I even tried creating a new orbit mission without any luck. Got home and noticed the pesky...

I'm sure the mavmount with hood will help. I often find myself flying from under a tree or even in the cab of my truck due to sun issues. I should prob just buy a hood and get it over with.

What's the word on Sugar Land airport getting LAANC automated authorization? Also, have you ever tried calling the tower to request authorization? Just curious if they allow a phone call heads up or if they require FAA waivers.

I've got a job next week in the Baytown area. Thinking about trying to find a good place to shoot some pics of the Fred Hartman Bridge. Not sure exactly where I will setup, yet, but could get some cool shots of the bridge with ships coming in and out.
