Yes.. gone days where aerial shots done with helis and heavy camera... :D now even budget TV Programs using few seconds drone shot for their opening and transition.. i have some fellow pilots of mine whos living a fortune by making aerial shots for TV and movies..

I own Mini SE - CE version.. as the CE version had lower transmission power than FCC.. I used passive parabolic signal booster attached to remote controller antennas.. Usually in urban areas, i got range about 100-200m without booster.. with booster it can get around 300m or so before lost...

Which Fly App version did you use? I found that version 1.5.1 has some bug for Mini SE, that often times your DJI account is logged out for unknown reason.. restarted the app, and it is automaticly login again.. it is just annoying.. Simple solution: revert back to version 1.4.12 or something

Check Update within the app.. Today i fly at local park.. and everything normal.. no bug no abnormalities.. (Mini SE)

Differences between Mini SE and Mini 2 is just Mini SE = Enhanced Wifi, uses same remote as Mini 1, Shoots video at 2.7K Mini 2 = Occusync, uses different remote, Video 4K Everything else is the same, motors, battery, props, wind resist, casing.. If you have more budget, go with Mini 2, but if...

use Map view.. there is pointer that shows your RC (and your phone) direction (blue dot with arrow)... point your remote to the aircraft blue arrow (or point remote to the red line) always maintain VLOS...
