‘Downgrading’ to Mavic Air

It wasn't that long ago that they were selling rebranded Sony cameras for serious markup using the hasselblad name... If that isn't end of life marketing I don't know what is.. Then the x1d 50c was a complete joke... They cut that price in half in a heartbeat.
But yeah... Marketing. The name still has some more to squeeze out of it.

What was the joke with the X1D50C? Handling? Price? It has the highest sensor score awarded for MF bodies tested to date by DXOmark- colour depth and dynamic range are ridiculous (I know people who shoot with them).

for one thing.. DXOmark is a joke
if slashing the price in half almost immediately after releasing may not seem odd to you, i hope you don't mind that i don't wish to completely hijack and derail this thread by getting into product life cycles and pricing (but you can google it).
