Standard. I had >14km with MP in the same region but lost taste of pushing the limits with M2P

Only done this once, and I don't think I need to try to push it any further. I still had like 3bars signal strength at max distance. Stock setup.

You are brave over water. I did it over fields and at the end even maneuver to avoid some forest to have field for landing

I find flying close to build up area affects the signal strength. My max height for that flight was 45m and I still had good reception. You'll notice I'd skirt around land, so on the last quarter of the flight, if I do run low on battery, I can quickly turn right and aim to land on dry land.

My Maximum was 3 km out over the ocean to get a shot of a light house.

I was scared to death the entire time. After I did it, I needed a drink.

It was fun, but now I keep it Much closer. Just had to try it at least once!
