So much of the discussion on the boards is about the 4k modes and their strengths and weaknesses.

What about the 2.7K on the M2 Pro?

When used for 1080 playback how much is given up over either of the 4K modes?

What are the inherent benefits or downsides of using 2.7k when full 4K playback is not possible or desired?

I love the look of 2.7 60fps but i feel like I'm in the minority there.
I really prefer the smoothness of 60fps, especially when panning so I believe that I'm going to use more the 2.7K 60 fps over the rest modes.
I 'm expecting my M2P today or tomorrow and it's the first thing I 'm going to try.

Can you please advise what's the bitrate in 2.7K 60fps?

I like it and have used it for past video work with the Phantom 4 Pro. I shot this test video today with the MP2 at 2.7K/60fps and rendered at 1080p for youtube:

I like with im seeing. The image is nice and sharp. But why go with 60 fps unless your going to slow it down 50 percent? I don't get the hype of 60 fps

interesting thread...i need to conduct more tests to see if 4k is that much better then 2,7

4k is making my devices lag a bit

i shoot in 2k 60fps most of the time on the mav 2 pro as there is much less motion blur, i think the h265 codec looks awful as there is a slight horizon curve,
