2.7K on a 1080P TV

Hi everyone;

Can anyone tell me if video recorded on Phantom 4 Pro at 2.7K can be viewed without any issues on a 1080P TV.

Thanks for your help, as I have a friend who enjoys coming out with me and I'd like to shoot my video in a size that he too can view on his television. I have a 4K TV but he doesn't so that's why I need to now about the 2.7K

I am not an EE but it should play, I have a 4K and a 1080p projector and I play my (4k) mavic footage on both, I just run it from the micro sd card to the tv.

yes mine plays from the sd card on my Samsung 1080 (an older smart one) it pays on mine mostly.

Thank you Gary, I appreciate the response. Yours and Bunny's input will be a big help as the gentleman that goes with me is an older fella too and he doesn't have a Quad but he sure loves to watch the videos we record. What a couple of old Codgers we are, him 78 and me 70 out in the sticks recording all those mice, moles and ants we're supposed to stay 75 meters away from.

Both my TV's are Samsung. I think they're one of the best makes out there. I put our 3 year old 65" 1080P upstairs for the wife and a new 70" 4K downstairs for the both of us.
