265 codec, won’t play on iPad pro

Having shot a video in the new 265 codec it won’t play back on my iPad Pro 10.5. Checked on Apple website and it should. Anyone else with a similar issue?

Yep see that and says it will play but don’t.

Yeah but shouldn’t be messing about downloading others apps etc....it should just work/play! It I have no other option I will have to[emoji853]

IMHO VLC is much better than Apple IOS or (Android’s) native video apps.

I encountered the same problem. Here's an odd one tho, I use Lumafusion to make my videos, if I save the settings as quality 100mbps and H265 they play nps.
