I've been shooting this since last summer, and narrowed down the footage to the three best shots (40 second video):

MP + DJI Go4 (I know... I know... Litchi wasn't loading properly on the first day of the shoot - and I will never use Go4 again to fly such a mission - but here it is, nonetheless...)

Very nice executed man! I have a similar project underway (an old fortress in Sweden). Have autumn and winter so far...

I've been working on another as well. It's of this field (see link below). I have it in brown, partially white and all white. Next month the entire thing will be green - that'll be the last one I need.

Bear Valley Snow, March 11, 2018

I'll keep an eye out for yours when you get it done.

Very nice.. Is transition done by slow opacity change? I wonder if it would work for day to night video that well too.

The transitions are 5 second cross-fades (overlapping the end of one clip with the start of the next clip), with no other effects.

Hey~ is anyone else out there blending footage from waypoint missions? I'd love to get some new ideas for future missions.

Would love to get started on a project but the weather has been something else and keeping from even getting started. LOL
I see that you are in BC. Doesn't winter last until around August there? :) We're finally between storms in Northern California, so I ran out and shot this: Sierra Valley - Sierraville, California

I had hoped that this valley would still be covered in snow by the time I got there, but it melted away in just a couple of days (bummer). It did leave behind some nice water features in the landscape, though.

LOL Really wonder if it's going to this year. Fresh snow on the mountains this morning and when it clears up and sunny we are getting high winds, just no winning. Looks promising Sunday.
Those look cool, haven't had a chance to try out those features yet, hoping soon.

Have you considered flying a $99 Tello indoors? The batteries are now available for only $19 each -- buy three and the shipping is free. Four batteries will give you 50 minutes or more of flying using your cell phone as the controller. :D

Check out Tellopilots.com.

I do have a $50 drone I bought and practiced with while waiting for my Mavic. My cat and plants weren't happen about that but sure improved my flying skills practicing indoors.
