We got lucky this year as the fourth is on Sunday and most Americans will have Monday off from work in observance of the fourth.

Considering my fireworks don't start until 9:30pm and I have to be to work at 5:30am the next morning, I'll be long passed out with the help of a few (many) cocktails.

Love the celebration but here in LA country I'm beginning to hate the random fireworks. Google the recent Police department Bomb Squad truck.

They had loaded so many fireworks from a residential garage into the iron bomb squad demolition truck that they were afraid to move the truck along city streets and then this happened.
Beautiful to look at but heart breaking for many pet owners along with knowing that in the last couple or years half of our state has burned it's pretty terrifying. Sorry..not excited about completely reckless displays.
