I’m interested in learning if anyone is using the 7 inch screen with the Mavic Pro? I’d think the weight and balance might be a factor. The larger screen is an attractive option and not that much more than the 5 inch.
I don’t know also if there are mounts available for this yet. Perhaps mavmount is working on one?
Initially, out of the box I was surprised at how close the 5.5 CrystalSky Monitor was in size to my iPhone 7. After having used the 5.5 CS for six weeks, and with a solid startup routine, I would NEVER go back to the iPhone. The screen has enough of an increase in real estate, compared to the iPhone, that it is MUCH easier to SEE what you're really getting on video. For the Mavic controller, the 5.5 screen balances well ergonomically and the brightness is amazing. No regrets with the 5.5 CrystalSky Monitor, none!
I bought the 5 inch today from Adevexure. Should be her with the mavmount in a few days.
Now I gotta find a place to fly!
I have found working with the CrystalSky requires a specific startup routine in order to avoid the dreaded "disconnected" message. So, I thought I would share the steps in the hopes of avoiding some of the frustration I encountered initially with the device.
Hope this helps and enjoy that bright shiny new Monitor!
