Can somebody recommend a 5" smartphone for the Mini 2 (respectively the actual Fly App version) from personal experience? A friend of mine is looking for a smartphone to put in his FXT Viper goggles for FPV flight and only 5" screen size is visible in the goggles.

Whichever you end up it has to be a 64bit phone as the app won’t work on 32bit system

Tx for your advice!
But Is the Smartcontroller, which works with Fly App, also a 64bit System? The SC obviously works for Air 2 / Air 2s (unfortunately not for the Mini 2) :-( I thought ist was 32 bit only?

Google Pixel 2
Can be had for $50 used from Amazon

All of this done in less than 60 seconds using Google.

TX - I know and have done that. But Google is the one thing, helpful forum members the other... I'm somebody who prefers to get information from personal experience of other people - and I thought that this is something, this forum was meant to be for...

So basically you prefer to be given a fish than learn how to fish. That's ok. I was both giving you a fish and telling you how to fish. If you are looking for personal experience, my personal experience is that it's more productive to learn how to fish than to ask for a fish every time you want one.

I think you missed the OPs point. You were telling him where the lake with the fish is. He knows where the lake is but he wanted to know what bait works best to catch the fish. Sure he can spend lots of time reading and buying phones to see what works and what does not. Then there is the time to test and return the ones that don't work well, despite what the specs may say.

Therefore, the OP, quite rightly, was asking what luck others have had with Phones that actually work well (or what bait works best for catching fish in the lake you pointed him to). And there is nothing wrong with asking that type of info to help speed a person to getting to actually be catching fish.

For being brand new here, yourself, you are being a bit hard on others asking for help here. Sit back, get some time under your belt and chill. Being brand new here, you have no idea what this forum is all about.

Tx a lot, Cymruflyer - you made my day! You very politeful said, what I wasn't able to say. With English not being my native language, I have to fight for the words and wasn't able to say it in the respectful way you did it.
