My primary laptop is a Chromebook. I know that horrifies some people but it was either give my last Windows machine away or check into the nearest nut lodge. Can I update the firmware in my MP through it? and ....
Is the gimbal overload always a bound gimbal of some sort. I started ownership of my new/used MP with 3 errors. ESC status, No front left forward facing vision sensor. (which was literally the truth) and the infamous Gimbal load to large. I seem to have corrected the ESC issue, (cold solder connection) and the sensor issue, (new OEM) but I am still getting the gimbal overload error even after I replaced the flex.
I don't have a transmitter so I am communicating with the drone via Go 4/WiFi. The gimbal seems to do the appropriate dance on start up but fails calibration and communication.
I am thinking that my next step should be to make sure the firmware is correct. Up to at least .300 and fresh. But not sure if I can get it done with my Chromebook. Help please.
