Hi all. Here are some pics of my living place, Martinique.

We start with the spectacular Diamond Rock that is 175 meters high

All of them are really nice images. They are well composed, well exposed, and beautifully edited.

Great shots - I like the second one with Diamond Rock from a distance. All of them are good, that one stands out to me.

Great photos. Just wondering what the Brown sludge in the water is.??? Especially in the first 2 photos.
This is sargassum seaweed. A real plague plague in the Caribbean for about 7-8 years now :-(

You can see in attachment a picture I took here in Martinique a few weeks ago

Is Sargassum seaweed or algae? The linked article calls it algae.

It indeed is an alga, like Dale pointed out, it is a large, multicellular alga. The sargassum sea (large area in the Atlantic) has been around for a long time.
